Application Timeline

The following timeline is for general information purposes only. The status of any particular application may differ slightly from this timeline.

STEP 1

  • Upon submission of your application, you receive a confirmation of receipt in 1-2 business days.

STEP 2

  • The Administrator reviews your application for completion. If information is needed to complete the application, the Administrator will either:

    • Send you a letter to request additional information or documents.  (~ 30 days)

    • Request medical records on your behalf (individual applications only). (~ 30-90 days)

STEP 3

  • When your application is complete, the Administrator makes a recommendation to the Survivors Circle for Reproductive Justice Review Committee.

STEP 4

  • It may take up to 30 days for the Survivors Circle for Reproductive Justice Review Committee to conduct an impartial review of the Administrator's recommendation and notify the Administrator of their decision. 

STEP 5

  • It may take up to 10 days for you to receive a determination letter from the Administrator to advise you:

    • Your application has been approved and asks you to complete the Funding Acknowledgement document; or

    • Your application has been determined to be ineligible for healing support funding. You may submit a request for reconsideration within 30 days of the letter.

STEP 6

  • If your application is approved, you submit your completed funding acknowledgement to the Administrator. This includes your preferred payment method.

STEP 7

  • You will receive your payment in about 30 days from receipt of your funding acknowledgement.

STEP 8

  • You are required to report to the Administrator upon completion of your group project.
