Survivors Circle for Reproductive Justice Healing Support Fund

Through the Healing Support Fund, we were able to support Survivor individual healing, community initiatives and Assisted Reproductive Technology across Canada. Community initiatives (Group projects), members on their Assisted Reproductive Technology journeys and members on their personal healing journeys have been supported through the fund.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SURVIVOR MEMBERS for 2026 – 2027

  • If you have previously submitted an application to the Healing Support Fund in 2025 – 2026, but your application was incomplete as of March 31, 2026, the Survivors Circle for Reproductive Justice may have assisted you with completing your application, you will be given first priority. We acknowledge the strength and care it can take to reach this point, and we thank Survivors who chose to engage with this process.

  • The Healing Support Fund 2026-27 is now open to registry members in three areas:

    • One-time Individual Healing (up to $10,000): the individual healing can be accessed one-time only for up to the maximum amount noted.

    • One-time Individual Healing – Assisted Reproductive Technology (up to $30,000) can be accessed one-time only up to the maximum amount noted. If you accessed a lower amount in 2025-26, you are eligible to apply for the difference up to $30,000 in 2026-27.

    • Group Projects (up to $30,000) – open to members to apply for up to the maximum amount of $30,000.

  • Survivor Members who have received funds for individual healing up to $10,000, are still eligible to access other services and programs provided by the Survivors Circle for Reproductive Justice such as Mental Health supports, Survivor Support Line, monthly webinar series, Community-based healing or grassroots initiatives (Group projects), training opportunities.

  •  All Healing Support Fund Applicants must have a Survivor ID from the Survivors Circle for Reproductive Justice.

For Individuals

What is Covered?

Eligible Survivors can access up to:

  • $10,000 for healing supports like therapy, traditional ceremonies, or physical therapies.

  • $30,000 for assisted reproductive technologies, including IVF or other fertility treatments.

Examples of Support:

  • Mental Health Services: Therapy, grief counselling, and addiction recovery.

  • Cultural Supports: Traditional ceremonies, Elder guidance, and land-based healing.

  • Physical Therapies: Physiotherapy and occupational therapy.

  • Wrap-around Services: Transportation, respite care, and more.

  • Reproductive Health: Fertility therapies and rehabilitation.

How to Apply?

All Healing Support Fund Applicants must have a Survivor ID issued by the Survivors Circle for Reproductive Justice.

For Groups & Organizations

Fostering Community Healing

Eligible community organizations and grassroots groups can apply for up to $30,000 to support community-driven healing initiatives led by or involving Survivors.

What is Covered?

  • Land-based and cultural healing programs.

  • Trauma support campaigns.

  • Traditional ceremonies

  • Art projects

  • Community gatherings to promote healing and awareness

Requirements:

  • Survivor involvement with a valid Survivor ID.

  • Project description, objectives, and timeline.

  • Detailed budget and trauma-informed practices.
