JAYFEST has been produced by a member of the Survivors Circle for Reproductive Justice.

JAYFEST will be held at Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan Festival, 948 Spadina Crescent East, Saskatoon SK S7K 3H6, on June 14, 2026.

Strawberry Seal Skin Pin Workshop

Members can register today for our monthly webinar on May 28th at 1PM EST featuring Resilient Inuk’s Strawberry Sealskin pins.

With the spring season here, join us for this workshop to build your own Strawberry pin honouring the spring planting season and the Odemin (the heart berry). Strawberries are one of the Women’s medicines and vital to women’s reproductive health. Working with sealskin is an Inuit art form, and Resilient Inuk Vanessa Brousseau will share teachings and skills with workshop participants.

Registration is due by May 15th, please complete the registration form to ensure your workshop kit is mailed to you in time for the workshop.

Participation is limited to 50 participants only. Please send your completed registration forms to events@reproductivejusticesurvivors.ca

Le printemps étant arrivé, participez à cet atelier pour créer votre propre épingle à peau de phoque aux fraises, en hommage à la saison des plantations et à l'odemin (la baie du cœur). La fraise est un médecine sacré pour les femmes et est essentielle du santé reproductive. Le travail de la peau de phoque est un art inuit, et Vanessa Brousseau de Resilient Inuk partagera son savoir-faire et ses techniques avec les participants.

Les inscriptions doivent être effectuées avant le 15 mai. Veuillez remplir le formulaire d'inscription afin que votre trousse vous soit envoyée à temps pour l'atelier. Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART)

This group session offers survivors of sterilization who are interested in Assisted Reproductive Technology a space to gather with other survivors, mental health supports and medical experts. Considering if ART after forced or coerced sterilization is right path for you can feel overwhelming but is a process that you don’t have to go through alone. If you are curious about ART, understanding what options are available, prices, what to expect, support with your ART healing funding application or where to start then these group sessions are for you.

Sessions will be three hours long and you are not required to attend all three sessions.

National Day of Action to Support Bill S-228: Phone Blitz

We need your help. The Survivors Circle for Reproductive Justice is asking you to commit 35 min to join a phone blitz to call MP's and voice your support for the passing of Bill S-228. This is a federal bill to criminalize forced and coerced sterilization within Canada. The passing of this bill will bring justice to survivors and protect future generations.

Getting involved is really easy. All you need is to register, join the zoom on your selected date and help us make calls! You can also bring your friends, colleagues and network! We will provide you with a call list and even provide you with a script.
